As I understand it, it's correct that Astrazeneca doesn't appear as an option in the dropdown. There's an option to download a writable PDF at CDC where one could take a look. Appears sometimes people choose one of the other companies
Is this a question, or do you mean the results should be substantially different?
If it is a question, then I am fairly sure I used the Nov 11 dataset because the later ones do not even have SYMPTOM_TEXT for GB - that's why I added the SPLTTYPE column as a check. And the SPLTYPE ITSELF is missing too in the recent datasets as you know! :-)
If there are only a handful more AZ reports that I missed, I wouldn't spend much time on it because that does not really change the main premise of my article.
But if you think the results should be substantially different, please provide some example VAERS IDs for AstraZeneca so I can double check my code.
no, it was just a simple question making sure which data set you used :-) This was interesting work. Thank you! I had wondered if the AZ reports were buried in this way, but had not had the time to peek. Glad you did.
Also 250 AZ lot codes with expiration dates can be helpful in ID'ing them.

If you open the report for the two AZ_REPORTs you will see them as UNKNOWN MANUFACTURER
